JOB ANNOUNCEMENT:
SEEKING STAFF ATTORNEY

The Fair Elections Legal Network, (FELN), a national nonpartisan network of experienced election lawyers who work to increase voter participation among traditionally under participating constituencies, seeks an experienced lawyer with organizing and/or political experience to serve as a staff attorney.
 
Responsibilities will include identifying and working with voter mobilization, registration and other progressive organizations to identify barriers to voter participation and identify and facilitate collaborative opportunities to bring about reforms; identifying and facilitating appropriate collaborative opportunities between FELN participating lawyers and FELN participating organization field staff; supporting FELN legal director’s work to identify legal and administrative obstacles to voting and developing and implementing appropriate ameliorative measures and processes for obtaining them.

Must be a self-starter comfortable handling numerous tasks at one time. Must also possess a demonstrated ability to handle significant responsibility, meet deadlines, achieve measurable results and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced, collegial environment.
