Their mission is to "promote and protect public health, welfare and ecological resources through the effective and efficient reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering the effects on the economy of the state." Site contains air quality data, environmental software, and consumer buying guides. South Coast Air Quality Management District. Smog control agency for all or portions of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties of California. Provides information on transportation programs, clean air technology, clean air plans and much more. Also contains a special section for children. Florida Division of Air Resources Management. Features statistical summaries of ambient (ground-level) air monitoring data. The American Lung Association works to ensure that everyone can breathe easier, with a mission designed to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.
