- Enviromental Working Group The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a leading content provider for public interest groups and concerned citizens who are campaigning to protect the environment.
- Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA) For 15 years, the Pesticide Action Network has campaigned to replace pesticide use with ecologically sound alternatives. As one of five Regional Centers worldwide, PAN North America links individuals, researchers, farmers, opinion leaders, businesses and public interest organizations in Canada, Mexico and the U.S. with over 400 consumer, labor, health, environment and agriculture groups in more than 60 countries.
- Californians for Pesticide Reform To address pesticide problem, Californians for Pesticide Reform (CPR) has developed a long-term plan for changing the climate of public opinion to achieve a range of health- and pesticide-related policy reforms at local and statewide levels. Their goals are to expand the public's right to know about pesticide use and abuse, reduce that use and promote safer, ecologically sound agricultural and urban pest management.

- U.S. Food & Drug Administration FDA ensures that the food we eat is safe and wholesome, that the cosmetics we use won't harm us, and that medicines, medical devices, and radiation-emitting consumer products such as microwave ovens are safe and effective.
- U.S. Department of Agriculture The mission of the USDA is to enhance the quality of life for the American people by supporting production of agriculture; ensuring a safe, affordable, nutritious, and accessible food supply; caring for agricultural, forest, and range lands; supporting sound development of rural communities; providing economic opportunities for farm and rural residents; expanding global markets for agricultural and forest products and services; and working to reduce hunger in America and throughout the world.
- National Toxicology Program Dedicated to providing information about potentially toxic chemicals to regulatory and research agencies and the public, and to strengthen the science base in toxicology. The NTP has become the world's leader in designing, conducting, and interpreting animal assays for toxicity/ carcinogenicity.
- CA Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has primary responsibility for regulating all aspects of pesticide sales and use to protect public health and the environment. The Department's mission is to evaluate and mitigate impacts of pesticide use, maintain the safety of the pesticide workplace, ensure product effectiveness, and encourage the development and use of reduced-risk pest control practices while recognizing the need for pest management in a healthy economy.
- California Department of Food and Agriculture Serves the citizens of the State by promoting California agriculture and fostering public confidence in the market place through the development, implementation, and communication of sound public policies.

- The National Integrated Pest Management Network (NIPMN)
A public-private partnership (include universities, government agencies, and industry) dedicated to making the latest and most accurate information on pest management available on the World Wide Web.
- UC's Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources Directory Dedicated To Serving People, the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources strives to make life better for Californians in all walks of life, in every corner of this fast-growing, ethnically diverse state.
- USDA's Pesticide Properties Database The ARS PPD is a compendium of chemical and physical properties of 230 widely used pesticides. Information included in the database focuses on 16 of the most important properties that affect pesticides transport and degradation characteristics.

An agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, ATSDR's mission is to prevent exposure and adverse human health effects and diminished quality of life associated with exposure to hazardous substances from waste sites, unplanned releases, and other sources of pollution present in the environment.
