Expertise: federal policies related to Superfund, budget, energy policy, energy efficiency, nuclear policy, radioactive waste, deregulation, polluter subsidies/green taxes and fuel efficiency.
Background: Ms. Aurilio is the legislative director for U.S. PIRG responsible for policy development, research and advocacy on energy issues and anti-environmental subsidies. She has testified numerous times before U.S. House and Senate Science, Energy and Appropriations Committees. Previously she was a Staff Scientist with the National Environmental Law Center, and the PIRGs' National Litigation Project.
