Background: Ms. Etherton is responsible for a broad range of issues work and for coordinating campaign work and public involvement in communities across Oregon. She has led OSPIRG's field efforts to stop the rollbacks to our landmark environmental laws, including fighting proposals to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling and protecting roadless areas in Oregon's National Forests. She also has coordinated media outreach, coalition building and grassroots organizing efforts on OSPIRG's priority campaigns, and has appeared on KGW12 , OPB News and in The Oregonian. Ms. Etherton works closely with Earth Share of Oregon, the Oregon Wild Forests Coalition and the Oregon Conservation Network. Previously she served as OSPIRG's Administrative Director for five years.
