Background: After graduating from Ohio University, Lauren moved to New Mexico in 2003. While in Ohio, Lauren worked on issues affecting low-income Appalachians and with a community recycling and reuse program. In 2005, she graduated from New Mexico State University. Before joining our staff in April 2006, she worked as a program evaluator and research assistant at NMSU and was active in environmental issues affecting southern New Mexico. While on staff, Lauren has worked on Environment New Mexico's water scarcity, global warming, energy and Clean Cars campaigns.
Education: Lauren received a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Sociology and Women's Studies in 2003. She received a Masters Degree from New Mexico State University in Sociology and Public Administration in 2005.
